It is once again time for our quarterly cooking get-together at an old friend’s house.
Appetizers consisted of garlic bread with avocado, hummus & roasted tomato.
The difficult way to make spaetezle (we didn’t have the appropriate colander).
But who cares, because it came out perfect.
Perfectly seasoned and grilled filet. I forgot to get a pic of supper’s final plating: seasoned filet with blueberry hollandaise sauce, mushroom spaetezle, & asparagus.

I did remember to document dessert’s final result: caramel souffle, vanilla ice cream & candied bacon.
As always, a fun and memorable time with a great group of friends. Can’t wait to do it again in September 🙂
